Reading FC have been linked with a move for free agent Amadou Salif Mbengue.
According to FootballInsider, the player is currently on trial with the Royals after leaving French side Metz earlier in the summer.

Sarr has been training with Paul Ince’s men for the past two weeks, while FC Porto midfielder Mamadou Loum completed a one-year loan deal last week and could feature against Stevenage in the EFL Cup tomorrow night.
20-year-old Mbengue came through the youth ranks at FC Metz and made five appearances for Metz II before being promoted to the first-team.
The Senegalase player has versatility having played at both defensive midfield and also centre-back.
He made 12 appearances for Metz last season in Ligue 1 where the club finished in 19th position.
