Former Reading FC player Wayne Bridge has opted for an unusual path since retiring from football and is set to fight celebrity YouTuber KSI in a boxing match.
The two will face off in a boxing exhibition on March 29.
KSI made his name on YouTube and boasts more than 25million subscribers, while he turned his hand to boxing in recent years and is the CEO of Misfits Boxing.
31-year-old KSI has had six boxing fights and has won five and lost one, his only defeat by Tommy Fury by decision in 2023.
Meanwhile, 44-year-old Bridge has little experience in the ring despite a strong professional football career.
Bridge made a total of 467 appearances throughout his career which included spells with Southampton, Chelsea, Manchester City, as well as winning 36 international caps for England.
Bridge spent one season with Reading in the 2013/14 campaign where he made 12 Championship appearances before retiring from professional football.
