Keith Cattran, who was Wokingham Town Mayor in the 1980s, has died.
Keith was elected as a Wokingham town councillor for the Evendons West Ward in 1979, and was a member on both Amenities and Finance committees.
He went on to serve as Mayor at the town council from May 1985 to May 1986.
Among his achievements, he spearheaded a campaign to raise money for the purchase of a kidney dialysis machine for the benefit of the people of Wokingham. By the end of his year of office, he had collected an unbelievable £21,240.
