Former Wokingham Times editor offers PR help to allow borough businesses to grow

A FORMER newspaper editor is helping local businesses to grow after launching a new public relations company.

Adam Smith, 46, from Barkham, edited The Wokingham Times for five years before going on to work for several national newspaper titles.

He has now launched Topline PR Ltd, a boutique public relations agency that works hand in hand with businesses to get their voice heard by a wider audience.

The firm is focused on getting editorial coverage and providing social media management for companies looking to expand their client base.

“Our approach to PR combines the traditional and the modern – a good story still sells but it’s who you sell it to that’s changed. Print publications remain important, but online and social platforms are now a crucial part of any campaign,” said Adam.

“Our experience with print, online and social media means we help you flourish across all three platforms.

“Any business looking to attract new clients and increase revenues can benefit from PR. We’re here to shout about your business no matter how big or small you are.

“We don’t believe in a one size fits all strategy, so we will create a bespoke campaign plan that works for you.”

Topline PR Ltd has already helped clients get results, including two financial services companies in Wokingham.

“It can sometimes be difficult to get your business noticed, especially if you’re just starting out. We’ll tell your story and pitch it to the publications most likely to be seen by your preferred clients.

“Successful PR is not necessarily about flowery prose – your message needs to be written to suit the publication it’s aimed at to create a path of least resistance to publication.”

For more details, call Adam on 07543 195476, or visit www.toplinepr.co.uk
