A painting of a former Wokingham landmark has sold for £1,000.
Originally failing to sell in October, the oil on canvas painting depicting Wokingham Guild Hall, dated 1817, was finally sold last week at Dreweatts auction house in Newbury.
The painting was estimated to achieve between £600 and £800.
Wokingham Guild Hall once stood on what is now Wokingham Town Hall. It was built in 1612 and, after falling into a state of disrepair, was demolished in 1858.
