GREAT Western Railway has laid out how its services will be operating during the latest industrial action by rail staff.
The RMT Union is due to go on strike on Thursday, March 16, Saturday, March 18, Thursday, March 30, and Saturday, April 1.
During this period, Great Western Railway will be operating a severely reduced service and passengers are advised to double-check their journeys before travelling.
Much of the network will have no service at all, and running services will start later and finish before 6.30pm.
Services are also expected to be extremely busy across the GWR network, as well as across other networks.
On Thursday, March 16, services will start at 7.30am and must be complete by 7.30pm, and routes between Reading and Basingstoke will run with a reduced service.
Services will only run between London Paddington and: Bristol Temple Meads, with an hourly extension to Plymouth; Bristol Parkway; Cardiff; and Oxford.
Services between Slough and Windsor, Maidenhead and Marlow, Twyford and Henley, and Cardiff and Westbury will be running, though heavily reduced.
Trains will see considerable disruption as a result on the following day, Friday, March 17, though additional services will be run to Cheltenham for the Cheltenham Festival.
On Saturday, March 18, services will start at 7.30am and must be complete by 6.30pm, and routes between Reading and Basingstoke will run with a reduced service.
Services will only run between London Paddington and: Bristol Temple Meads, with an hourly extension to Exeter; Bristol Parkway; Cardiff; Oxford; and Newbury.
Services between Slough and Windsor, West Ealing and Greenford, Maidenhead and Marlow, Twyford and Henley, Plymouth and Newton Abbot, and Cardiff and Westbury will be running.
Passengers who have purchased tickets for strike days can claim a full refund or amend their ticket online via: gwr.com
Those who see delays of more than 15 minutes may be entitled to Delay Repay compensation.
Tickets for Thursday, March 16, and Saturday, March 18, can be used on the day before or up to and including Tuesday, March 21.
Tickets for Thursday, March 30, and Saturday, April 1, can be used on the day before or up to and including Tuesday, April 4.
