Josh Harris struck twice as Wokingham and Emmbrook eased to victory over neighbours Woodley United at Larges Lane.
Harris’ brace and an Ellis Day strike gave the hosts a 3-1 win, with Leon Mannion on target for Woodley, but it should have been more for Dan Bateman’s men, with the visitors indebted to a fine display from goalkeeper Tom Bryant.
The writing appeared to be on the wall from half-time for Jon Laugharne’s charges, who already trailed 2-0 and were down to 10 men following a red card for Pablo Fernandez, and they never recovered.

Bateman made four changes from the midweek defeat at Didcot Town Development with Felix Davies replacing Sean Woodward in goal while Jordan Rowland, Elliott Rushforth and Aaron Rowland were preferred to Ben Broadhurst, Connor Holland and George Marsh.
As for Woodley, they made three changes following their big win against Chinnor as Fernandez, Richard Thomas, Jono Malone came in for Luke Axton-Hall, Joe Sissons and Sam Wood.
The visitors made a decent start with Freddie Barron and Liam Wilson going close to breaking the deadlock.
But the Sumas quickly got into their stride and almost went ahead through Day and Harris before Nick Bateman crashed a header against the crossbar.
And Wokingham got their noses in front on 16 minutes when Harris burst through from midfield and fired high into the net.
Young goalkeeper Davies was then called into action at the other end to make saves from Ryan Alexander and Max Laschok before Woodley were reduced to 10 men with Fernandez shown a straight red card for an off the ball incident.

Things went from bad to worse for Laugharne’s charges, quickly falling 2-0 behind when Harris picked out fellow teenager Day to tuck in.
Sumas piled on the pressure as they sought more goals before the half was out, but Woodley held firm and made two subs at the break with Mannion and Harry Swabey introduced.
Mannion almost netted straightaway but the changes left the Kestrels open at the back and George Marsh went close.
Bryant then came into his own, denying Joe Cummuskey, Rushforth and Harris before Swabey produced a fine goal-line clearance to thwart Day’s volley.
However, a third goal duly arrived when Jordan Rowland picked out Harris to kill the contest with his second strike of the afternoon.
Rushforth then hit the post before a late Woodley rally saw them pull a goal back through Mannion’s header, while Davies also made a good stop to deny Laschok.
The victory lifts the Sumas up to third in the table with United still down in 11th.
