THE brilliantly named Beans on Toast is coming to Reading this weekend, and his setlist will include tracks from his latest album The Toothpaste and the Tube.

Beans on Toast – Send Me a Bird
This Essex-born singer-songwriter was No. 2 in our Best of 2023 list, and he has visited Reading several times over the last few years thanks to gig promoter, Club Velocity.
Each time he visits the crowd gets bigger. That’s no surprise as he is such a brilliant engaging performer.
He is back on March 5 and this time it will be a bit different as, rather than appearing solo, he will be with his Beans on Toast Band. That sounds interesting.

The Countess of Fife – Hard Woman To Love
Last year punk legends, The Rezillos, played a blistering set at Reading’s Face Bar with the whole band including vocalist Fay Fife being on top form.
Fay returns to the Face Bar on March 17 but in a different guise, leading a band of talented musicians in her alt. country band.
