South Central Men’s Division 4 North
SOUTH BERKSHIRE 3s made a winning return to action as they saw off second placed Oxford 3s at Cantley Park.
The 3-1 win, which is South Berks’ seventh victory in 10 league matches, lifts them up to third in the table.
South Berks now move within a point of Oxford in second place as a result of the win.
They will still have their eyes set on making a title challenge and currently sit seven points behind leaders Newbury & Thatcham 3s with a game in hand.
South Central Men’s Division 2 North
SOUTH BERKSHIRE 2s were beaten for the fifth time in 11 matches as they lost out away to Marlow 3s.
The 4-2 defeat leaves South Berks in seventh on 12 points from 11 games with a trip to 11th placed Oxford University 3s up next.
South Central Women’s Premier 2
READING 3s were beaten for the first time this season as their unbeaten record was wiped out at home to Havant.
The visitors took a 3-1 win which means Reading’s lead at the top was reduced.
Reading still sit at the summit having won nine of their 11 matches and are seven points in front of second placed Winchester who have two games in hand.
SOUTH BERKSHIRE 1s collected a point on the road at Chichester to keep in touch with the teams above them.
The 2-2 stalemate means that South Berks have drawn six of their 11 matches so far this campaign.They are in fourth position on 18 points
South Central Women’s Division 2 North
READING 4s climbed into second position with a 4-2 away success against Marlow 3s.
Reading trail league leaders Windsor by just three points after 10 matches.
SONNING 2s lost for the sixth time in 11 matches with an away defeat at Wallingford 2s.
The loss means that Sonning sit in ninth place on nine points.
South Central Women’s Division 3 Thames
SONNING 4s made an empathic return to action as they smacked eight past Eastcote 7 Eagles.
The 8-1 victory means Sonning are in third position on 15 points having won five of their eight league fixtures.
