A gathering of horses in Wokingham town centre caught the attention of civil enforcement officers on Saturday evening.
Around 30 horses and their carts were parked in Market Place for an hour while their owners enjoyed the hospitality at a town centre pub.
One eyewitness who contacted Wokingham Today said: “I was driving through the town centre and I saw what appeared to be a parking warden issuing a ticket to one of the horses parked in the disabled parking spot in Denmark Street.”
A spokesperson for Wokingham borough council said: “I can confirm no parking tickets were issued in Market Place on Saturday evening.
“There are parking bays on Broad Street and in Rose Street that are not restricted after 6pm.”
