A three-month closure order has been granted for a house in Wokingham.
Thames Valley Police said that due to ongoing anti-social behaviour, violence and continuous reports, members of its Wokingham South Neighbourhood Policing Team attended Reading Magistrates Court last week to apply for, and obtain, a full closure order on an address on Blagrove Drive, Wokingham.
A spokesperson said: “This took a lot of work and would not have been achievable without the support of residents and partner agencies.”
The full closure order will remain in place for three months, and means no one is permitted to be within the property during that time.
If any suspicious activity or breaches are seen, they can be reported via 999 or 102.
Thames Valley Police said it is committed to tackling anti-social behaviour within our communities, and it is delighted that the courts have supported the action taken.
“We want the residents of Wokingham to feel safe where they live, free from the stress caused by ASB.
“If this isn’t the case, please report this to us and let us know of your specific concerns so we can look to change things for the better.”
