Hurst Morris People’s summer season is in full swing – with their next performance tonight (Thursday, July 13) at 8pm at The Stag and Hounds in Binfield.
For this display, they will be teaming up with the side from Customs and Exiles.
Next Thursday, they will be at The Cricketers in Littlewick Green, where they will dance with Datchet Morris.
Last week, they visited the ancient Green Man pub in Hinton Road, Hurst, and before that they were at The Castle in Hurst with OBJ Morris who are based in Wokingham and Bracknell area.
The side welcomes new members and will be holding try-out evenings on Thursdays September 21 and 28, at 8pm, at Hurst Village Hall, School Road, Hurst.
No dance experience is necessary. Folk instrument players should note that most tunes are played in the key of G or D. All genders, generations and backgrounds are welcome.
