FORGET We Buy Any Car, organisers of a country show are saying We Want Any Car.
The 40th Hurst Show takes place in the village on June 29 and 30. Part of the fun will be classic car rally, but to make it really motor, there’s a plea being issues for vintage vehicle owners to get on the highway to Hurst.
Organiser Philip Payne said: “It doesn’t matter if your vehicle is a Mini or a Ferrari; a Vespa or a Harley; as long as it is insured and road legal we would like to see it. Come for one or both days.”
Admittance will be via pre-registration and show pass only. Exhibitors need to be on site from 10am to 4pm.
There will be free entrance to Hurst Show for the driver and one passenger.
Owner of the vehicle voted best in show by the public will win a bottle of bubbly and a plaque. There will be a best in show on both days.
The 40th Hurst Show also includes a fun fact packed Discovery Trail with prizes for all ages, birds of prey displays, Reading Scottish Pipe Band’s young players, tugs of war, pony rides, craft and food stalls, a fun dog show, antiques valuation on the Sunday, beer, barbecue and tea tents.
