AN INTERIOR design studio has designed a new showhome that has just opened in nearby Warfield.
Berkeley Homes’ Woodhurst Park development is the setting for the four-bedroom house, which has had the finishing touches devised by Zetter Blunt Design. The firm says it has drawn upon the natural surroundings to create a home from home.
It adds that it demonstrates contemporary modern living, using a forest hues colour palette.
Hannah Blunt and Grace Zetter, founders of Zetter Blunt Design, said: “Our goal was to bring the showhome to life by creating a family home with a design that reflects the natural surroundings at Woodhurst Park.
“We wanted visitors to immediately feel at home when they step through the doors and to be able to fully understand the flexibility offered by the Starling’s layout.
“The forest hues of juniper and olive green, alongside the stone and spruce blues, make the palette colour reflect the variety of nature at the development, supported by natural textures ‘foraged’ from the country park, like driftwood, mushroom wallpaper and statement artwork.”
The house, they continued, was special because it would be the final showhome launched at Woodhurst Park.
“We wanted it to really embody the core values of the development – family and nature,” they said.
The townhouse features a principal bedroom with a dressing room and ensuite. There is also an open-plan ground floor, a separate living room and three further double bedrooms.
Benjamin Ivey, director of sales and marketing at Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern), said: “Zetter Blunt Design has done a fantastic job, giving a real flavour of the lifestyle on offer in our last phase at our development and illustrating how our community and nature live hand in hand at Woodhurst Park.”
