PEOPLE in their 20s and 30s who would like to join a walk that takes them through woods and farmland and ends in a social drink at the pub, should make their way to Wokingham.
Aaron from Berkshire Walkers will lead a five mile route through the town centre, and past Ludgrove School, which was attended by princes William and Harry, through Gray’s pick-your-own Farm, and then via woodland and farm land before heading back to the town.
Those who choose to can stay for a drink at a Wokingham pub.
The route begins and ends at Wokingham Railway Station, with a chance to enjoy a friendly pint at the nearby Station Tap afterwards.
The walk will be at medium pace, with people asked to wear suitable footwear for what may be a muddy route.
Ramblers should bring a drink and a snack.
The event takes place on Wednesday, May 22, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
Train travellers from Reading are advised to catch the 18:09 or 18:19 train to Wokingham.
Drivers can park in the station car park but will need to pay.
