A CANCER charity is launching a virtual balloon race later this month.
Walk the Walk, founded by Finchampstead resident Nina Barough CBE, is running the race.
It sees participants sponsor a balloon which will be released virtually over Sydney Opera House at noon on Friday, March 18.
The balloon can be customised using the race dashboard, and real time weather conditions will be used to trace their progress over seven days
Prizes are on offer for the owners of the balloons who travel the furthest distance.
