There’s a new take on Batman in the cinemas – this crime fighter is made of Lego.
The new family film has been released just in time for half-term and to celebrate, the local theme park Legoland is preparing to hold a series of Lego Batman themed days.
Running from March 10 to 31 – just as the park opens for the new season – the park near Windsor will be organising a host of fun events for all ages to enjoy.
Budding superheroes are invited to take part in a Lego Batman Movie scavanger hunt and find the bats hidden around Miniland. And The Joker and other Batman villains will be hiding in many of the area’s recreations of world landmarks such as the House of Parliament and the Effiel Tower.
A series of Lego workshops will be held, with a chance to build Lego Batman gadgets – something that is always popular with young visitors.
And Lego Batman will also be making personal appearances, giving children a chance to have a photo taken with him at the Batman Selfie Station.
As well as the Lego Batman fun, there are more than 55 interactive rides, live shows, building workshops, driving schools and attractions to enjoy including the famous Dragon rollercoaster and the Lego City Driving School.
