COLOURS and light will be the focus of an upcoming children’s event which will serve as an alternative to the Hallowe’en festivities.
Shinfield Community Church will welcome youngsters and their families to Alder Grove School on Tuesday, October 31, for its Light Party featuring face painting, games and a disco.
The event, which was a sell-out last year, celebrates light, love and joy and also gives visitors the chance to get creative with crafts and biscuit decorating.
Tickets are £5 per child and include a parent or carer place, with hardship bursaries available.
The party takes place from 5.30pm-6.30pm.
