Music from Thames Valley Community Choir was heard when the eighth door of Wokingham’s Living Advent Calendar was opened.
A large crowd gathered by the Wokingham salon H20, in Old Row Court and close to Waitrose on Tuesday, December 8.
The evening was introduced by Cllr David Davies, and a large crowd gathered to hear the choir, part of the Sing Healthy group, perform festive tunes including The Holly and The Ivy.

Sing Healthy will be performing The Snowman, with the help of The Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra andThe Coombes School Choir on Sunday, December 20 at 3pm and 7pm. For more details, click here.
Their Living Advent Calendar appearance is just one of a number of special events taking place in Wokingham town centre every day between now and Christmas Eve. A live performance will be held somewhere in Wokingham at 6.15pm or 4pm at weekends.
On Wednesday, December 9, the venue will be The Hope & Anchor on Station Road and the performance starts at 6.15pm. What will it be? We’ll tell you tomorrow!
