Earlier today, a man was charged in connection with an alleged incident as Wokingham gathered in Market Place to take part in the annual two-minute silence.
The act of remembrance, held on Armistice Day, sees the whole country fall silent at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month. However, Thames Valley Police reported earlier today that not everyone in Wokingham was able to keep silent.
The force tweeted this evening that officers were kept busy during the two minutes as they dealt with a man who was creating a disturbance in Market Place today.
He was arrested and charged for the alleged public order offence for disrupting the act of remembrance.
