Officers from Thames Valley Police were pictured attending an incident in Wokingham town centre on Monday morning (October 13).
Several vehicles and officers were spotted in The Plaza on Denmark Street at 10.30am.
One shopper told Wokingham Today that officers were placing an item from the ground in what appeared to be a forensics bag.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson told Wokingham Today: “Officers attended an incident on Denmark Street, Wokingham, at around 10.30am on Monday.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and wasting police time.
“He remains in police custody at this time.”
