MORE details have emerged of the stabbing that took place in Wokingham’s town centre on Monday evening.
A man in his late 20s remains in hospital today with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
And police are urging members of the public NOT to share graphic images of the incident, which have been circulating on social media.
Thames Valley Police said that they were called to Station Approach around 9.50pm following reports of a fight between five people.
The victim, a man in his late twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.
An 18-year-old man from Farnborough, Hampshire, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody.

A police cordon remains in place along parts of Station Approach, including scrubland by the Wokingham Railway Station car park, the Crisis House and parts of The Station Tap’s beer garden.
A spokesperson for The Station Tap pub contacted The Wokingham Paper to say that the pub was not involved in last night’s incident.
They said: “We are shocked to learn a young person was stabbed in close proximity to our business as he left the nearby train station.
“We have handed over our external CCTV in order to assist police with their investigation as they pursue the attackers.”
Now police are appealing for witnesses to the attack to come forward.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Ash Mohmood, of Force CID at Reading, said: “We are in the very early stages of this investigation and have arrested one person in connection with the incident.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the assault, or who believes they know anybody involved, to call police.
“The victim suffered serious, but thankfully not life-threatening injuries, and remains in hospital.
“I believe that a group of men jumped out of a dark-coloured hatchback vehicle, possibly a Ford Fiesta or Volkswagen Polo to attack the victim before making their escape.
“They are all aged in their late teens to early twenties and were wearing hooded tops.
“This is, of course, a concerning incident, but I would like to reassure the community that I believe this to be an isolated incident.
“I would urge anybody who has any information about the incident, no matter how insignificant you may think this is, to contact police.
“There will be a continued police presence in the area while our investigation continues. Please do not hesitate to speak to one of our officers if you have any concerns or any information that may assist the investigation.
“We are also aware that there may be images of the incident circulating via social media.
“I would urge members of the public not to share as it is disrespectful to those affected and the images or footage may be used as evidence in court.”
