A MAN was threatened with a knife during a robbery in Woodley last week.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) is appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the 46-year-old man walking along Headley Road East at around 10.25pm on Friday, October 9.
The victim was approached by a man who followed him to a garden in the same road before threatening him with a knife and demanding money. The offender then fled the scene on foot towards Welford Road.
Money and cigarettes were stolen during the incident, but the victim was not injured.
The offender is described as white, about 5ft 11ins and stocky. He was wearing dark combat style trousers, hi-top trainers and a woollen hat.
Investigating officer, Kate Devonshire of Local CID based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of the offender provided, or saw anything suspicious in the area at the time.
“If anyone has any information please contact me via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”
