Pavements in Market Place will be restored to their original condition, Wokingham borough council has confirmed.
The works, outside TG Jones. Took place following issues with electrics at town centre properties.
A spokesperson for Wokingham borough council told Wokingham Today: “Emergency SSEN works took place to repair faulty electrical cables that were affecting electricity supplies to businesses.
“The utility company is responsible for returning the surface to the same standard it was before, and we are currently working with them to supply the correct York stone slabs.
“We hope this will be within six months – in line with legislation – but this depends on how quickly the volume of stone required can be delivered.
