A DATE has been confirmed for a popular annual festive event in Shinfield Meadows.
Maybank’s impressive Christmas Lights switch-on will return for the ninth time on December 3rd, with organisers promising a “bigger and better” showcase.
The community gathering gives neighbours the opportunity to get together and countdown to the turning on of thousands of lights installed in the Shinfield cul-de-sac.
Fullbrooks Window Cleaning Services return as the event’s sponsors for a second year, with money raised on the day going towards the organisers’ designated charities. Last year, the event raised thousands of pounds for the NSPCC.
