ONE of the latest shops to come to Wokingham’s Peach Place is a familiar face – and the doors will open on Saturday at 10am.
Clintons used to be in old development that was demolished to create the new town centre shopping area and is now returning.
The store sells a range of gifts and greetings cards as well as homeware, wedding gifts and decorations.
To celebrate its reopening, the store is planning some special offers including 20% discounts and the chance to win a hamper packed with items from the Me To You range, gifts and confectionery.
And a giant, cuddly Me to You bear will also be in Peach Place to welcome customers to the store on Saturday.
Hannah Philips, Clintons store manager, said: “We’re very excited to be returning to Peach Place with a brand-new store at the heart of the town centre which will showcase the very best of Clintons, with exciting new product ranges and unique greetings cards and gifts available in-store.
“Every day is a special day for someone in Wokingham and we know the right words on the right card can really make a difference to them.
“Our research tells us that we all instinctively appreciate the time and thought which goes into sending a card, and so here at Clintons we work hard to ensure we have the perfect birthday cards, wedding cards, Christenings, retirement, baby, good luck, thank you and many, many more available for every message you want to say.”
The store has a soft launch tomorrow and the opening discounts run until Monday, August 12. The winner of the hamper will be drawn in store on Monday.
