WOKINGHAM residents will be able to hear the constituency’s new MP talk about how he got into politics and his experience of the first five months in the job.
Clive Jones was unwell and unable to take part in the hustings prior to the General Election in July, which meant that people didn’t then have an opportunity to hear him speak.
An event in Wokingham – The Person behind the Politics – will give residents another chance to meet with their new representative and to hear about his role.
Clive will speak about his values and his background, and about what he did before he became a politician.
He will also talk about his first few months in the post, but organisers say the interview will focus more on the person than on the politics.
Entry is free, but donations are appreciated.
An Interview With Clive Jones MP takes place at All Saints Church, on Thursday, December 12, at 7.30pm.
