A LOCAL group dedicated to volunteering and helping others, will hear from a representative of the charity Understanding Dementia.
The Wokingham branch of Mothers Union will hear from visiting speaker, Shirley Pearce, about how to lessen the impact of dementia for those who live with it.
The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with the exception of December and August.
Meetings start at 7.45pm, and the group enjoys a range of talks on a variety of topics.
All are welcome, with visiting non-members asked to contribute a modest fee.
The dementia talk will take place in the De Vitre room at Wokingham’s Cornerstone Building on Wednesday, September 13, at 2pm.
