A new business is set to open its doors in Wokingham next month.
The Wellness Clinic Wokingham is a new Private Health and Well-being Clinic, and will launch in early October in Elms Walk.
The aim of the business is to improve both the physical and mental health of the local population. It is the brainchild of a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, led by Dr Flora Richardson and Lisa McFadden.
Dr Richardson has worked for a number of years as a general practitioner, while Lisa vheads up the non-clinical therapies team. She is passionate about the benefits of Vitamin Therapies, particularly in the wake of Covid 19 which has left many people deficient in key vitamins.
The team feels this is the right time to offer an affordable choice between NHS Services and the private sector, particularly in relation to obtaining doctors appointments within a realistic timeframe and the services that are currently being offered in relation to the menopause.
The team recognises how peoples busy lives make it increasingly difficult to access healthcare at a time that is convenient for them, and within a timeframe to address their acute symptoms.
The clinic will be offering a wide range of services including private GP appointments, menopause clinics, travel clinics, ear micro-suction, vitamin therapies, health and well-being checks, allergen testing and private blood testing.
The team will have a stand at the Mindset Unlimited Festival at Elms Fields on Saturday September 16.
