Holme Grange school is set to welcome Pippa Adams as headteacher.
In a statement, the school said: “With extensive leadership experience, she is dedicated to academic excellence, pastoral care and providing opportunities for every pupil to thrive.”
She joins Holme Grange from September 1 from Farlington School inHorsham, where she served as deputy head for four years.
She brings with her extensive leadership experience within independent co-educational schools, spanning Nursery to Sixth Form.
At Farlington, Mrs Adams was instrumental in developing the breadth of opportunities for all children, and leading significant strategic change.
Prior to this, she was deputy head (senior academic) at St Edmund’s School in Hindhead, where she played a key role in founding and leading the senior school over eight years, having previously served as Head of English across Key Stages 1 to 4.
She holds a master’s in educational leadership and management, and is a fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. She is also currently completing her training as an ISI inspector.
She is deeply committed to nurturing pastoral care, championing academic excellence and fostering wide-ranging opportunities that allow pupils and staff to thrive.
Married with two sons, she enjoys the great outdoors, especially with her cocker spaniel, Digby, by her side.
