AN OLYMPIAN who represented Great Britain in two Olympic Games will be the special guest speaker at a charity event in Sonning.
Members of Reading Hockey Club are holding a charity auction and will welcome Jason Lee for the event.
Born in Hayes, he won 82 caps for England and 35 for Great Britain, scoring 35 goals and appearing at the 1992 and 1996 Games before retiring as a player.
He is now a coach of the England’s Women’s squad.
During his visit to the Sonning Lane-based club, he will talk about his career and answer questions.
The evening also includes cocktails and canapés and takes place on Saturday, March 3.
Tickets cost £15 and are available from the club’s website, www.readinghockeyclub.org.uk
