The Role
As a PA, you will provide a supportive, energetic approach to help me maintain my routines, explore new activities, and develop new skills.
This will include help with my personal care, training/ therapy programmes, social activities, and communication needs. You will also support me with daily household routines.
I need people who are flexible in their approach and can respond to changes in my emotional and physical needs.
Due to Genuine Occupational requirements this role is only open to Female applicants.
About Me
I am a 26-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy who manages and employs my own staff team.
I wish to recruit a PA/support worker to join my existing team. I wish to recruit one person for a 31 hour contract working Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays
I am a fun-loving lady, living independently but close to my family, with my small dog.
In normal times I lead an active lifestyle from participating in sports to going to the theatre and shopping.
I am known for my spontaneity so there will never be a dull moment!
Things that I need help with are my personal care, communication, and emotional support.

About You
To be considered, you’ll need:
– A full, clean driving licence (ideally familiar with larger automatic vehicles)
– Great communication skills, in particular supporting and developing communication
– A positive and creative attitude
– To fit in with my family and social dynamic
– Sharing interests in varied activities like theatre would be a bonus!
– Dog lover
Ideally, you will have previous experience as an PA/ support worker, but this is not essential. An understanding of communication needs of individuals would be beneficial.
Other people may call this role Enabler or Care Worker.
Hours
The position is 31 hours working:
Thursday and Friday, between 8.00 – 20.00.
Saturdays (3 out of 4) 09.00-16.00
Hourly rates
£12 per hour weekdays during probation/ training. (£16 per hour weekends)
£14 per hour weekdays post probation/ training (£16 per hour weekends)
