Details have emerged about the marketing for sale of part of a supermarket car park in Wokingham borough.
Part of the Asda car park in Lower Earley was part of a package of similar land plans that was being offered for sale, either individually or together, by real estate agents Newsteer.
The site is located to the periphery of the operational car park off Chalfont Way and covers approximately 1.88 acres. Bids closed earlier this month.
The opportunity was being marketed as being suitable for both commercial and residential uses, subject to planning permission.
Marketing materials noted: “Asda have identified parcels of surplus car parking and land across their estate, and are looking to dispose of these opportunities subject to planning.”
The land was being sold with a 125-year leasehold, and is subject to other conditions.
