Hurst’s Party in the Park to help young footballers raised £1,500, it’s been announced.
Events organiser Jason O’Connor said: “It was a good result for the club. A big thank you goes to everyone involved.”
The event with bands and a DJ at Hurst Youth Football’s ground in Hinton Road, Hurst attracted 200 people on July 1.
The money will help hire training pitches, buy kits and equipment and keep the yearly subscription as low as possible.
