Binfield’s long wait for a league win finally came to an end with a 2-1 victory at Flackwell Heath.
After a goalless first half, Stephen Peacock quickly put the Moles ahead after the restart with his second goal for the club.
Ian Davies made it 2-0 during the closing stages and while the hosts pulled a goal back when Josh Samuels’ cross deflected in, Binfield held on to seal a first Hellenic Premier Division victory since December after a run of 10 without a win.

Roger Herridge made wholesale changes following the midweek Floodlit Cup quarter-final win at Windsor.
Jack Thomson-Wheeler made his first start after recovering from injury while there was also a debut for centre-back Idris Kamara, signed from Marlow having impressed at this level with Woodley United last season. Jeff Brown, Jemel Johnson and Peacock also came into the side with Jonathan Hathaway, Liam Gavin, Sean Moore, Carlo Santoro and Charley Tuttle all dropping out.
After a quiet first half, Moles goalkeeper David Lyons was called into action to keep the game level, pulling off a penalty save to deny captain Dan Bailey just before the break.
And Binfield took full advantage, moving 1-0 ahead just three minutes after the restart through former Eversley and California man Peacock.
That lead was doubled with 10 minutes to play through Davies, following up on his midweek hat-trick to put his side 2-0 ahead.
Flackwell did set up a nervy finish via an own goal, but Binfield held on to pull clear of the bottom five.
“An ugly win but fully deserved,” said boss Herridge.
“I have missed this feeling on a Saturday night. Hard graft won the points. A brilliant debut by Iddy and a top goalkeeper performance by Dave Lyons.
“The rest weren’t bad either!”
Binfield are back in action on Monday evening, hosting Ardley United, looking to jump five places in the league.
