LUCIE COLEBECK has announced her retirement from professional competition in an emotional online blog post.
The Pinewood Gymnastics Club tumbler, 22, ends her career having won a host of medals in tumbling and trampolining, including gold at last year’s Women’s Senior British Championships.

She followed that up with bronze at the World Championships but has now decided to call it a day.
“I’ve made the decision to retire from the sport that has had a tremendous impact in my life,” said Colebeck.
“The first time I jumped on the track 13 years ago I fell in love; fell in love for the first time and this will certainly be the hardest heartbreak I’ll have.”
Colebeck retires having won eight British titles, two European medals, eight European titles, two World Age titles, six World Medals and one World Games medal.
