Wokingham Borough Council has approved outline plans that will see the development of more than 1,400 homes in south Wokingham.
The application by Kier Ventures Ltd and Miller Homes Ltd is for land in phase 2b on the South Wokingham Strategic Development Location (SDL).
The hybrid outline application is for what is described as a mixed-use development of up to 1.434 homes.
A two-form entry primary school, local centre including community buildings, a public open space, play areas and associated infrastructure and landscaping are also part of the plans.
