POLICE and firefighters were called out to Elms Field on Saturday, August 22, to help down a man on a roof.
The man, who was seen sitting on top of a window above Nuffield Health gym, appears to not want to come down.
Fire crews have set up a long ladder, and positioned it next to him. Police and ambulance crews were also on the scene.
Elms Field and the area around it were closed. An initial cordon that included the play area was expanded to include the whole park and parts of the surrounding roads.
Thames Valley Police and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue have been contacted for comment.
