A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Woodley.
Between 2pm and 2.10pm on Friday (2), the 47-year-old woman was walking through High Woods when she was approached by a man from behind.
The man sexually assaulted her by touching her inappropriately. The woman shouted at the man, telling him to stop, and he fled in the direction of Kingfisher Drive.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
The man is described as white and of a slim build, between 5ft 3in and 6ft tall. He had dark-coloured hair around the side of his head and had either a bald or a shaved scalp.
He was wearing a royal blue polo shirt with a mustard-coloured line around the collar.
Investigating officer, PC Zoe Eele, of Bracknell Local CID, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victim.
“We are carrying out an investigation in order to locate this man, and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information relating to it, to please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency line on 101.”
