Thames Valley Police have confirmed that they have found a body of a man in Woosehill.
They believe it to be John, also known as Reginald or Reg, who was reported missing last Thursday.
Officers located a body in Emm Brook at around 4.45pm on Thursday following searches in the Woosehill area.
Formal identification has yet to take place, however Reg’s family are being supported by officers.
A statement from TVP Wokingham said: Officers have sadly located the body of a man following searches in Woosehill.
“Formal identification is yet to take place but we believe the man to be missing person John, also known as Reginald, aged 90, who was reported missing from Wokingham on Thursday 26 September.
“Reginald’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers and our thoughts remain with the family at this difficult time.
“Thank you to all who shared our appeals.”
