Police were called to Waitrose in Twyford this afternoon following an incident outside the store’s main entrance.
A shopper described seeing a man lying on the ground, reportedly swearing, while officers restrained him. “A couple of police and what looked like some non-uniformed officers were pinning him to the ground,” the witness said.
Multiple police vehicles were on the scene, and another car arrived shortly afterwards. Dozens of shoppers paused to watch the situation unfold.
