Thames Valley Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an attempted burglary investigation in Earley.
An unknown man approached a house in Wokingham Road and used tools to try and gain entry and caused damage to the property on December 3, 2024 at around 9:50am.
The man was then chased by the homeowner who was then threatened with a screwdriver before he fled the scene.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Stephen Major said: “I am releasing these images, as I believe the man pictured may have important information that may assist my investigation.
“If this man is you, or you know who he is, I would urge you to get in touch with Thames Valley Police, either online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240584222.
“Anybody with information can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
