THAMES VALLEY POLICE have sealed off the Woosehill underpass this morning after a distressed teenager was found in Little Sandhurst in the early hours of this morning.
Details are still emerging as to why the underpass has been sealed off.
Officers said that a 16-year-old girl was found by a member of the public in the village that is almost seven miles away from Woosehill.
As part of their investigation, police officers have closed the underpass and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Eyewitnesses are reporting that there is a police presence on the site, which is by the roundabout that connects the Woosehill Spine Road with Reading Road.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We were contacted at 1.24am today from a member of the public who had found a girl in distress.
“The member of the public found the 16-year-old girl off High Street in Little Sandhurst.
“Police are liaising with the girl to understand the nature of incident and a scenewatch is in place in Woosehill.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in these areas last night or in the early hours of the morning please contact police as soon as possible.
