BUDGET retailer Poundland has issued a product recall on a number of Hallowe’en wigs.
In a statement issued this morning (Thursday), the company said it was recalling the products as they ‘fall below our standards’.
It said the wigs had been on sale at Poundland stores, Poundland Online and Dealz stores since August 2016.
The statement said: “As a responsible retailer we take the testing and the standard of our products very seriously and remain committed to the highest levels of product quality which is why we are taking this precautionary measure.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Customers are advised to check the barcode on their product matches those listed on the recall (below), and to return the product to their local store as soon as possible.
