QUIZ fans are being invited to get their thinking caps on and help local charities at the same time.
Wokingham Lions will be holding a quiz night on Friday, October 19 at Wokingham Cricket Club in Sindlesham and is looking for teams of up to eight to join in. And the club will help link people up if the teams are short.
The evening includes a jacket potato with chilli meal (vegetarian option available) and there will be a raffle to take part in.
The cricket club’s bar will be open so that participants can lubricate their brain cells.
Ian Grange, organiser of the event, said: “There will be prizes for the winners, plus a raffle.
“We are looking for donations for raffle prizes, so please contact us if a local company would like to donate a service or product.
“It promises to be a fun evening, a chance to learn a few things, and also help worthy causes in the community.”
The fun starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12.50. They should be purchased in advance.
