Reading Women continued their recent fine form with a 4-0 win against Watford Ladies on Wednesday evening.
After three games unbeaten lifting Kelly Chambers’ side up to third in the FA WSL 1, attentions turned to the Continental Tyres Cup and Royals eased to a win with Fara Williams, Molly Bartrip and Kirsty Linnett among the scorers.
Here are our player ratings from the game at Adams Park.

RACHEL ROWE: A constant threat down the right and tried her luck on a couple of occasions. Was withdrawn at half-time – 7

JO POTTER: Defended well to keep Moloney untroubled and strode out of the back to set up attacks – 7
MANDY VAN DEN BERG: Not her busiest evening but produced two vital challenges to preserve the clean sheet – 8
ANNA GREEN: Really grew into the game in the second half and produced some fine crosses from the left, including a late assist – 8
MOLLY BARTRIP: Scored her first goal of the season and shielded the defence brilliantly from central midfield – 8* (star player)
REMI ALLEN: Kept play ticking along nicely in midfield before being replaced at the break – 7
RACHEL FURNESS: Showed great drive, energy and vision from central midfield and got forward well in the second half – 7
LAUREN BRUTON: Made some good movement at times but was not as influential in the attacking third as she can be – 6
FARA WILLIAMS: Broke the deadlock after five minutes and came close to adding to her tally but faded a little when dropping deeper in the second half – 7
KIRSTY LINNETT: Worked hard early on and eventually got her goal with a neat second half finish – 7
SUBS:
BECKY JANE: Came on at half-time and did a steady job at right-back to keep the Watford attack quiet – 6
