It was an afternoon of frustration for Reading on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Fulham at Madejski Stadium.
Liam Kelly opened the scoring just past the hour mark, but former Royal Lucas Piazon grabbed a share of the spoils for the visitors with eight minutes remaining.

VITO MANNONE – Made a couple of impressive stops but some questionable kicking – 6
CHRIS GUNTER – Got forward well but often wasteful from good positions and could have done better when defending for the equaliser – 6
TIAGO ILORI – Solid at the back and looked reliable when called upon – 7
PAUL MCSHANE – Rarely troubled as Reading dominated possession. Couldn’t quite get back in time to stop Piazon’s goal – 6
LIAM MOORE – Tried to drive forwards from the back and start attacks. Booked in the second half – 7
TYLER BLACKETT – Offered a good option going forwards and played some neat passes, but played a poor ball which led to the leveller – 7
GEORGE EVANS – Untroubled defensively but failed to pick out a killer pass – 5
LIAM KELLY – Continually tried to make things happen and got a goal his performance deserved – 8* (star man)

JOHN SWIFT – A busy display in the centre of the park but his finishing and at times reluctance to shoot let him down – 6
MODOU BARROW – Constant threat going forwards and drew the foul for the red card – 8
JOSEPH MENDES – Held up the ball well, almost scored with an early header and claimed an assist for Kelly’s goal – 7
