Reading FC have signed another player up to a one-year contract extension as midfielder Tinvonge Rushesha extends his stay in Berkshire.
Rushesha signed for the Royals in 2023 on a free transfer from Swansea City and has mainly been used as a squad player during his first two seasons with Reading.
He made 11 appearances in his first campaign before appearing 18 times last season, predominantly at right-back despite naturally being a central midfielder.
Noel Hunt said: “”Tiv is a great lad, I worked with him at U21 level, so coming into the job I knew his character, how hard he works and how much of an asset he can be to the team.
“He grew into the team towards the end of last season, filling in at right back and in midfield, so we are delighted to have him back for another season.”
