Former Reading FC CEO Nigel Howe has won an appeal to have his FA ban from all football activity reduced.
Howe, who now operates as property manager at the club, was given a £5,000 fine and 12 month suspension in April 2024 for misconduct in relation to FA rules between 1 March 2019 and 16 July 2019.
The sanction saw Howe suspended from being involved in contract negotiations and transfer activity for the irst six months and he was due to be suspended from all football activity during the second six moths.
However, after an appeal to the FA, Howe has now had this ban reduced to three months.
Howe has been tasked by current owner Dai Yongge to oversee the sale of the club.
It is quickly approaching a full year since the club was officially put up for sale, but as of yet no takeover has been completed much to the frustration of fans and most connected with the club.
