READING FC will be looking to continue their momentum having picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday when they host Stevenage on Saturday.

The Royals won their first league match since February last week, but were dealt a points deduction for the third successive season.

Reading were docked one point by the EFL which means they are on two points from the first three games.

Meanwhile, Reading’s opponents have won all three of their first matches in a flying start to the League One campaign.

Boro started their season with a 1-0 away win at Northampton Town and then defeated Championship side Watford in the EFL Cup on penalties.

They followed that up with a 2-0 success at home to Shrwesbury before they beat Cambridge United 2-1 away from home on Tuesday.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan scored his first senior goal for Reading, but Boro took the game 2-1 with an 89th minute winner from Danny Rose.

The teams have never met in a league competition with all their other meetings coming in the FA Cup. They have two wins each and one draw.

Predicted Reading line-up: Button, Carson, Bindon, Abbey, Yiadom, Savage, Wing, Camara, Knibbs, Azeez, Ehibhatiomhan
